UK repels mittelstand

Article Abstract:

The UK is currently second only to Germany as an investment location for medium-sized companies. However, it could drop to seventh position in the next three years, according to a survey by Deloitte Touche Tomatsu International (DTTI). The UK will be overtaken by emerging markets in central and eastern Europe. Germany will remain the most popular investment location, but only 4% of companies surveyed plan to invest in the UK in the next three years.
