Intuitive design: artificial intelligence helps a drugmaker learn what works

Arris Pharmaceuticals is using artificial intelligence systems (AI) to develop drugs for asthma and red blood cell stimulation. The AI systems are used to create model molecules that are much more detailed and accurate than those created through conventional computer-aided approaches.

It's a wrap: tiny spheres may make oral delivery of proteins a reality

An oral drug delivery system using microspheres has been created by Clinical Technologies Associates. Patients may be able to orally digest protein drugs formerly given by injection only if the system proves itself in trials.
