The Honda Civic HX coupe features a continuously variable transmission (CVT) which eliminates the gear-ration steps and a new lean-burn VTEC-E engine coupled to the CVT. The automobile's price will start at under $10,000, possibly making it the lowest-cost high-technology car available in the market.
