Lunar phase influence on global temperatures

Article Abstract:

Comments to a study which showed a significant difference in average earth temperature between the full moon and new moon suggest that the fact that the earth is closer to the sun at full moon is a contributing factor. The theory of feedback processes from the moon is defended in a reply.

Rapid prototyping directly from the vapor phase

Article Abstract:

Researchers have demonstrated that laser-assisted chemical vapor deposition (LCVD) can be used to phototype complex and freestanding microstructures. The LCVD method provides a cost-effective means for making endless, ultra-strong fibers.
