Lynx and Biologists Try to Recover After Disastrous Start

Article Abstract:

A program to bring the Canada lynx back to Colorado has drawn criticism after five of the animals starved to death in 1999. Experts discuss the program, which was organized by the state of Colorado, and the consequences for other reintroduction programs.

Biologists get up close and personal with live cells: multiphoton imaging

Article Abstract:

Multiphoton imaging excites natural biological fluorescence from live cells, allowing direct observation of events such as the maturation of fish egg cells, or brain neural exchanges, for the first time.
