Making headway against cancer

Article Abstract:

The death rate for cancer rose between 1973 and 1992, but early detection and improved treatment methods have caused mortality rates to fall for some types of cancers, such as breast cancer. People may be able to prevent cancer by changing their lifestyles and stopping smoking.

Article Abstract:

Research indicates that domesticated cats have about 1/3 less neurons in the ganglia than the cats of the Pleistocene age. The loss of brain cells is responsible for the lower brain weight of domesticated cats.
