Networks of venture capital firms in Silicon Valley

Article Abstract:

The advantages of examining the structure of social networks of cooperation within the venture capital industry in Silicon Valley to understand the level of development of this region are discussed. An argument over the historical development as well as the particular structure of the social networks in Silicon Valley that has fostered higher growth and development of many other regions of the world is presented.

Strategic management of technology in Japanese firms: Literature review

A literature on strategic management of technology firms in Japanese is examined with respect to technology strategy, inter-firm technological relations, knowledge management, new product development, and innovation system. The quantitative and qualitative methods are combined and used in a complementary manner to clarify the intricacies of technology management practices in Japanese firms.

Reforming venture capital in India: creating the enabling environment for information technology

Article Abstract:

The need for venture capital in India to support the growth of its Information Technology industry that will help to sustain growth at current levels with risk is analyzed. An ideal environment for the development of venture capital, benchmarked against the US environment to develop several proposals for recognizing the constraints of India's stage development is presented.
