Phytoestrogens

Article Abstract:

Citations on phytoestrogens address potential health promotion in mammalian systems. Dietary phytoestrogens are the soy isoflavones and the flaxseed lignans. The potential health benefits of dietary phytoestrogens and the biochemistry of phytoestrogens in the plant are discussed.

Pyrimidine and purine biosynthesis and degradation in plants

Article Abstract:

Progress in molecular aspects and various studies on the regulation and manipulation of nucleotide metabolism in plants is described. Results show that de novo synthesis is required at the whole plant level and presumably in some cells and tissues or developmental stages.
