Effects of ozone/hydrogen peroxide pretreatment on aerobic biodegradability of nonionic surfactants and polypropylene glycol

Article Abstract:

Researchers from Clemson University, University of Missouri and CH2MHill conducted studies on the pretreatment of four classes of compounds using ozone/hydrogen peroxide (O3/H202) advanced oxidation process and was able to show that different amounts of oxidants are required to remove 85% of dissolved organic carbon in batch bioassays.

The rate of ozone uptake on carpets: experimental studies

Article Abstract:

Laboratory tests were held on the ozone uptake of four whole-carpet samples and on the corresponding carpet fibers and backing. The article is broken down into an introduction, a discussion of the materials and methods used in the experiment, and a discussion of the results.
