New Leads to Cancer, Arthritis Therapies

Article Abstract:

Results from research conducted on the metalloproteinases enzyme is presented. This enzyme aids in breaking down collagen and other proteins and helps embryonic development and cell migration. It can at times be overactive and can ease the spread of cancers and arthritis. The findings of the research is discussed as well as some solutions to this problem.

T cell receptor-MHC Class I peptide interactions: affinity, kinetics, and specificity

Article Abstract:

A research project on the dynamics of major histocompatibility complex-peptide binding reactions used a single-site Langmuir reaction model, a two-site model and a model of a single ligand with two states. Results are discussed.
