Salmon hotspots of the Skagit River

Article Abstract:

The project aims to determine the role of tributaries in maintaining biodiversity and habitat quality for endangered Pacific salmon. Drs. Peter Kiffney, Correigh Greene and his project team will study river habitat and fish diversity at these vital junctions of the Skagit River and investigate their role in salmon habitat selection.

The project aims to assess the impact of land-use changes of Sylvan landscape to conserve biodiversity. Dr. John Dover and his project team will assess the current uses of historic hay meadows throughout the Deva Valley, to allow comparisons of 50 years of complied data.
