Supersoft x-ray stars and supernovae
Article Abstract:
Stars that have nuclear fusion on their outer surfaces instead of their inner cores emit low energy x-rays. These are actually binary stars with a white dwarf revolving with a red giant. The dense dwarf star steals hydrogen from the giant and resumes nuclear fusion until it reaches critical mass.

The stellar dynamo
Article Abstract:
Sunspot activity occurs in eleven-year cycles, except in those rare occasions throughout history when there have been aberrations in the cycle. Observations of the solar cycle throughout history and how it influences conditions on Earth is described.
