The law: contractor's conduct negates pay-if-paid clause

Article Abstract:

The law pertaining to "pay-if-paid" clause that is incorporated in the contract agreements between a contractor and a subcontractor is discussed. The clause absolves the contractor from paying the subcontractor when owner fails to pay the former.
