The many faces of mars

Article Abstract:

Mars has experienced a diversity of processes and conditions throughout its history and embraced environments ranging from dry to soaking wet to snow and ice. This diversity of surface environments from place to place and time to time is one of the helpful indicators for Martian biology as it provides a rich suite of environments where life might have taken halt.
