However, the company has diversified to other kinds of steel tubes such as the high precision cold drawn tubes and slotted and sculptured tubes. Newman-Tipper also won the contract to supply tubes to be used by AlliedSignal to produce seat belt tensioners. Innovation is considered to be a primary ingredient for the company's success.
