The rising seas

Article Abstract:

Current research is weakening the theory that sea level rise is due to global warming. Computer simulations by the SeaRISE project indicates warmer climates would increase snow deposition in the ice caps. Observations of the Ross Sea have shown that ice cap melting has stopped in one of the larger streams.

Burying the problem: could pumping carbon dioxide into the ground forestall global warming

Article Abstract:

The proposal to bury carbon dioxide to forestall global warming is being considered by scientists and legislators. The idea is not new and current technology makes the proposal feasible. Places being considered are deep sea environments and abandoned oil fields.

Global warming is still a hot topic

AT&T Bell Laboratories engineer David J. Thomson's research on annual climate cycles demonstrates conclusively that the global warming phenomenon exists. Thomson publicized his research at a Dec 94 American Geophysical Union conference.
