Flawed Revelations? CONTAMINATION MAY UNDERMINE GENESIS DATA

Article Abstract:

The crash of Genesis in a Utah desert has cast doubts regarding the integrity of the project. Genesis, the first mission featuring automated sample-return, had collected solar-wind particles totaling about 20 micrograms during its three years in space. Investigations continue as to why the parafoil did not open.

The stem cell challenge

The possibility of replacing or regenerating failing body parts with new tissues derived from stem cells have provoked hope, controversy and conflicting scientific claims. Scientists are struggling to understand and control embryonic stem cells, which offer primordial potential.
