Viewing velvet worms in amber

Article Abstract:

Amber-preserved fossils help bridge the gap between living velvet worms, land dwellers from the Southern Hemisphere and the previously known fossil velvet worms, Northern sea-dwellers. Onychophorans from the Baltics and the Dominican Republic, 40 and 20 million years old, are described.
