Who were the first Americans?

Article Abstract:

Anthropologists still differ on their opinion as to the identity of the first Americans. Evidence shows that humans first arrived in the Americas about 14,000 years ago, in Monte Verde, Chile, but other findings at several sites in the US dampen the theory. The first Americans are not likely to date back to the Ice Age.
