Article Abstract:

This article discusses the causative factors involved in the manifestation of daytime sleepiness. Data show that among many factors, sleep-disoriented breathing, cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, and chronic pain syndromes can affect sleep and lead to excessive daytime sleepiness.

Longitudinal analysis of the relationship between regular eye examinations and changes in visual and functional status

Article Abstract:

The association between regular eye examinations and visual and functional status is studied. Eye checkups done on a regular basis may mitigate visual and functional declination among the aged.
