Attention, women! Old ... alone ... and poor - it could happen to you

Article Abstract:

Women are more likely to grow old alone and poor because retirement benefits such as Social Security, pension and savings do not reward them as much as they do men. The fact that many women have part-time or temporary jobs only exacerbates matters. Given this, women should fight for equal rights to ensure a brighter future for themselves.

The day I fell: can we depend on the kindness of strangers?

Article Abstract:

The stranger, who was walking in the same direction, watched out for her for several blocks, probably afraid she would fall again.
