Relationship between plasma lipids and all - cause mortality in nondemented elderly

Article Abstract:

A cohort study involving 2,227 nondemented elderly aged between 65-98 years, and residing in northern Manhattan to study the relationship between plasma lipids and risk of death fro mall causes indicates that low cholesterol level is robust predictor of mortality.

The effect of vitamin D supplementation in healthier populations of men is investigated. Findings revealed that the 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels correlated with physical activity and physical performance in older.
