Older driver safety: a report from the older drivers project

Article Abstract:

Interventions are sought for the safety of older drivers suffering a disproportional high rate of motor vehicles fatalities. In response to these concerns, American Medical Association in partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have created the Older Driver Project describing and advocating a more acceptable approach to traffic safety.

Persistent pain in frail order adults after hip fracture repair

Article Abstract:

A study to identify factors associated with persistent hip pain in elderly hip fracture patients with physical frailty is presented. The prevalence and correlates of persistent hip pain in a sample of elderly hip fracture patients enrolling in a clinical trial of exercise training are examined.
