Physical activity-related well-being in older adults: Social cognitive influences

Article Abstract:

The pattern and correlates of physical activity-related well-being in older adults were examined across a 6-month exercise trial. Results of the study indicated that the social cognitive context of the exercise experience might have influence on exercise-related well-being.

The effect of old age on learning of supraspan sequences

Article Abstract:

Computerized versions of the D. O. Hebb paradigm were used to examine the age-related differences in sequence learning. Results of the study indicated dissociation in age-related learning deficits depending on the nature of the to-be-remembered material.
