New Choices magazine asked senior-policy lobbyists to identify the politicians who support the causes of aged Americans. These heroes include Sen. William Cohen, Sen. Edward Kennedy, Sen. David Pryor, Sen. Olympia Snowe and Rep. Pete Stark. Opponents include Rep. Newt Gingrich, Sen. Bob Kerrey, Rep. Richard Armey and Sen. Phil Gramm. It is undecided yet which side presidential aspirant Sen. Bob Dole will take.
