Those inevitable family rifts ... and how to handle them

Article Abstract:

Family rifts usually result in estrangement. Some causes of these quarrels can be serious, such as alcoholism and abuse, but others can be quite petty. Mending such rifts can be very complex and unpredictable and attempts at reconciliation can differ widely. Despite the difficulty, however, little steps toward reconciliation are always worth the effort.
