Why there's only cereal for dinner

Article Abstract:

Sixty-seven-year-old Marian Kellogg lives in a federally-funded apartment in New York and gets a Social Security check every month. Her life does not have the external appearance of poverty, but she is one of the 6 million Americans who are poor. Her situation is further aggravated by medicine bills and supplementary health insurance which she has to pay out of her pension.

Aspiring chemist Ed Rae's belief in Catholicism was renewed following a car mishap that almost cost him his life. Rae soon realized that his life changed for the better after finding the needed comfort and motivation through God.
