How does active parental consent influence the findings of drug-use surveys in schools?

Article Abstract:

The impact of passive and active parental consent on the type of adolescents participating in school-based survey finding the use of drugs among the students is examined. The results reveal that the participation rates in active consent schools were lower than in passive consent students and more in junior students but not in senior students.

Women's satisfaction with their breast prosthesis: What determines a quality prosthesis?

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted with an aim to determine what factors constitute quality prosthesis and ascertain which factors affect prosthesis satisfaction. Sixty-four women received full funding for their prosthesis and 38 women who received their hospital's usual funding were recruited.

Access to breast prostheses via a government- funded service in Victoria, Australia: experience of women and service providers

The use of external prostheses is an alternative to reconstruct breast following a mastectomy. Breast prosthesis services in Victoria, Australia, help the clients to access funds through the State Government's Aids and Equipment Program for breast reconstruction.
