Identification of innovating firms through technological innovation indicators: an application to the Spanish ceramic tile industry

Article Abstract:

A study of indicators of firmEs technological innovation activity, their classification based on inputs and outputs of the innovation process and primary, secondary sources of information is discussed. Results of the method based on direct information and the literature-based innovation output (LBIO) method based on secondary information prove to be most effective in identifying product and process innovators.

Internal factors determining a firmEs innovative behavior

Article Abstract:

The determined factors in the organization of a firm's innovative activities are investigated. Its aim is to analyze whether the innovative process, formed by a group of innovative characteristics, is explained by the firm's internal resources and factors, be they tangible, intangible or strategies.

Who participates in R and D subsidy programs? The case of Spanish manufacturing firms

The participation trends of private manufacturing industrial firms in Spain in various research and development activities are discussed. The challenges faced by these firms in developing research activities are analyzed.
