Rosa Parks 1913-2005

Article Abstract:

A short description on life experiences and career of Rosa Parks, an American civil rights activist with reference to her contribution towards the civil rights movement in the US and her life after and before Montgomery bus boycott is presented. Some of her achievement includes Spingarn Medal (NAACP (1979), Martin Luther King Jr. Award (1980) and Congressional Gold Medal of Honor (1999).
