Matrixial trans-subjectivity

Article Abstract:

A study rethinks desire and the unconscious by reference to the transgressive encounter between I and non-I grounded in the maternal womb/intra-uterine complex and a notion of affective economy that avoids phallocentrism. It postulates another kind of objet a by elaborating a psychic layer from which it may emerge, called the matrixial stratum of subjectivization, and proposes that one can regard the matrixial subjectivity-as-encounter as a feminine field related to the female real, which has an imaginary and a symbolic impact.

Weaving a woman artist with-in the matrixial encounter-event

Article Abstract:

The original matrixial difference supplies a measure of difference that functions between a woman and a woman and not only between a man and a woman. The way in which female bodily specificity allows the conceptualization of a field of co-affectivity, shareability and transmissibility is discussed.
