Multi-mode interaction among technologies

Article Abstract:

A multi-mode framework has been proven effective in assessing the impact of the emergence of new technologies to business organizations. The analysis highlighted the fact that technological interactions must not only be treated in a competitive sense since not all interactions are not confrontational by nature. The multi-mode framework outlines three modes by which interactions are likely to shift, including pure competition, symbiosis and predator-prey interaction. It also takes into account negative and positive interactions that arise from technologies.

The nature of lead users and measurement of leading edge status

Article Abstract:

The continuous analog to the lead user construct (LES), by testing its validity and reliability in a sample study of innovating and non-innovating users of information technology is explored. The dispositional innovativeness and time of adoption (TOA) measures showing a strong correlation with LES and explaining how users with high LES can contribute to predict and accelerate early product adoption are detailed.
