The track 'Naxalite' by the London band Asian Dub Foundation is discussed, with a focus on cultural politics and the history of left-wing political activism in European popular music. Naxalite, associated with the communist revolutionary movement in India, is considered in relation to Arundhati Roy's novel 'The God of Small Things' and the stories of Mahasweta Devi translated by Gayatri Spivak.
