Neoliberal empire

Article Abstract:

The regime of United States of America had embarked on neoliberal globalization in the late 1990s based on its economic preeminence. The combination of political, military and economic unilateralism and the merger of geopolitics has the probability of the development of a new version of neoliberalistic empire though what is unclear is the shape of the wider strategies based on the turmoil of war.

Hybridity, so what?: the anti-hybridity backlash and the riddles of recognition

Article Abstract:

This article examines the political and cultural aspects of hybrid identity, focusing on how hybridity or in-betweenness can be accommodated in a society that uses strict boundaries to define identity. The author suggests that hybridity is often seen as inauthentic, but it derives its power from being able to question artificial boundaries.
