Organisational rules, codification and knowledge creation in inter-organisation cooperative agreements

Article Abstract:

Research into the process of collaboration between independent businesses connected by a technological deal in the energy sector is presented. Attention is drawn to the relevance of extremely codified rules focusing on resource allocation difficulties which have mainly an incentive role and of rules focusing on the creation of resources which have either a cognitive or a coordination role.

The theoretical and policy implications of knowledge codification

Article Abstract:

Issues relating to corporate and government policy that emerged from work undertaken as part of the TIPIK project are discussed. It is suggested that future research should look at factors including cognitive structures and the content of knowledge, accessibility of knowledge, communities and their dynamics and the role of public infrastructures.

The role of knowledge codification in the emergence of consensus under uncertainty: empirical analysis and policy implications

The main factors that permit the emergence of consensus are considered. Emphasis is placed on the role of knowledge in the emergence of a consensus around the median of the dates of realization of an innovation.
