SAMPLING PROCEDURES AND SURVEY METHODOLOGIES FOR THE 1996 SURVEY WITH COMPARISONS TO EARLIER NATIONAL ROADSIDE SURVEYS

Article Abstract:

Three surveys measuring drinking and driving in the United States were examined and found be a reasonable measure of tracking drinking and driving incidents. The research examines surveys in 1973 and 1986 and compares the results with national roadside surveys conducted in 1996.

SEQUENTIAL ASSIGNMENT AND TREATMENT-AS-USUAL

Three methods of treating psychosocial abnormalities are examined: random assignment, sequential assignment and treatment-as-usual. The design of these treatment types and their program-related problems are studied.
