Scientists' collaboration strategies: implications for scientific and technical human capital

Article Abstract:

Scientific and technical human capital is the aggregate of scientist's collaborations, institutional links, technical skills and other resources, if any. Data analyzed from a sample of 451 scientists and engineers including women collaborators, mentoring scientists and those in cosmopolitan environment as well as those in distant geographic locations, gives an insight into their attitudes towards collaborations, mentoring and tenure.

Objectives, agreements and matching in science-industry collaborations: Reassembling the pieces of the puzzle

Article Abstract:

Reassembling the various forms of science-industry collaborations from various sources, information on a set of heterogeneous collaborations are studied. It is concluded on the research agenda that larger confirmation of the theoretical insights should be described by launching a large international two sided survey of science-industry collaborations.
