Senior vice says dues increase is needed for VFW's future

Article Abstract:

Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Senior vice commander-in-chief Gary Kurplus proposed the increase in the membership fees to build a strong foundation for the future generation and expects no negative influence on the recruiting of new members. VFW's Military Initiative Program is expected to bring in new or reinstated members and inform the young vets about VFW and encourage new members to join the Posts and offer them more facilities than just recruitment.
