Sexuality educators talk about their career paths

Those who work in sexuality education come from a wide range of backgrounds. Some knew from when they entered college that they wished to establish a career in sexuality education, while others worked in other areas first. They are enthused for their work by their success in helping young people.

There is such a thing as a free lunch: a model work-site parent education program

Article Abstract:

Cortland County, NY, is discussed with emphasis on its workplace parent education program, Lunch 'n' Learn. The importance of parental involvement in their children's sexual education has been proven and this program tries to encourage this.

When sex ed meets parent ed: supporting parents as sexuality educators

Article Abstract:

Many parents find it difficult to talk to their children about sex, often leaving it to school or ignoring the issue. This is not helpful to children and ways in which parents can talk to their children about such topics are presented.
