Strategies to build support for HIV-prevention and sexuality education programs

Article Abstract:

The support of parents, media and the community is crucial for conceptualizing and implementing HIV-prevention and sexuality education programs for young people. Professionals in education and health suggest strategies to build broad-based support for these programs. While the community and the school should develop a model comprehensive school health education, meetings with other local, state or national organizations are necessary. The programs should aim to provide latest information resources for parents, teachers and students and organize public meetings.
