Trial Lawyers College; training new warriors for battle against the death penalty

Article Abstract:

The Capital Case Program run by the Trial Lawyers College is discussed. and tries to give trial lawyers the skills necessary to save the lives of capital defendants. Most of the clients lack the money to hire big firm lawyers and must rely on public defenders. URLs for death penalty resources are given.

Lawyers: righters of old wrongs

Article Abstract:

The responsibility of lawyers to work to alleviate social problems social problems such as racism is discussed. The Lawyer's Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, founded in the 1960s has done much good work against racism since its founding.

Our wounds: the wrongs continue

Article Abstract:

The continuing racism in the United States and the resulting crimes against African Americans are discussed. People delude themselves by thinking that hate crimes are anomalous incidents and must work diligently against ongoing racism.
