An analysis of young women's relationships with middle-aged men

Article Abstract:

A survey was carried out in May 2001, on 422 female students majoring in various specialties in the higher and secondary educational institutions of Saratov and Engel's to determine the functional relation between young women's interest in middle-aged men and their professional prospects. It is concluded that the increasing spread of relationship between younger women and middle-aged men is an indication of the significant decline in the possibility of realizing upward mobility in Russian society.

The consequences of the reforms of the 1990s for women from poor urban families

Article Abstract:

The consequences of the economic reforms of the 1990s for women from poor urban families in Russia are examined. The results indicate that the economic reforms led to the collapse of leading sectors of industry, increased terrorism and social stratification, reduced the standard of living and led to a loss of stability and security.

The social aspects of fee-based medical services

Article Abstract:

The satisfaction with the amount as well as quality of the fee-based medical services provided the potential for increasing the market of these services. The most important criteria for choosing a particular medical institution are presented based on a study of the population of twenty large cities in Krasnodar Krai.
