Neighborhood socioeconomic conditions as moderators of family resource transmission: High school completion among at-risk youth

Article Abstract:

The neighboring socioeconomic conditions and family resources at various stages of life of the youth like adolescence, high school completion are affected. The studies show that neighborhood relations influence parent-child resource transmission and religious institutions.

Minority language use among grandchildren in multigenerational households

Article Abstract:

The presence of non-English speaking grandmothers has a stronger effect on grandchildren's minority language use in multigenerational households. The conventional three-generation model of language shift portrays a shift occurring from one generation to another.

Exploring the relationship between homophobia and participation core sports among high school students

The masculine/heterosexist identity reinforced by core sports is highlighted in a study regarding how far participation in extracurricular activities influences homophobia in high school students.
