Study on subsidized housing and child nutrition released

Article Abstract:

A 2005 study by the Children's Sentinel Nutrition Assessment Program (C-SNAP) found that children of families in subsidized housing enjoyed significant weight-for-age gains than their counterparts in eligible families that did not receive housing assistance. The Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics was hence set to release its bi-annual report in July 2005, which would include indicators of children's welfare measured along certain family characteristics.
