The Moro Islamic Liberation Front at 20: State of the revolution

Article Abstract:

The avowed goal of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), which completed 20 years in 1998, is to establish an independent Islamic state. Though initially armed and supported by the Libyan and Malaysian governments, by the early 1990s, the MILF lost much of its state support and hence to pursue their goal, they forged a tentative relationship with Al Qaeda, receiving money through Saudi charities, as well as limited military training, giving different assistance to these groups in exchange.

Al Qaeda's operations: Project management analysis

Article Abstract:

The project management skills of the Al Qaeda, which succeeded in perpetrating several terrorist attacks successfully, are analyzed for an understanding of its operational aspects and the managerial processes that its leaders were focused on. It is found that Al Qaeda's greatest managerial strength lies in human resource management, and its weakness lies in time management, which resulted in delays in the execution of their operations.
