The outcome of an election rally depends on the way one does the mathematics of counting the votes. Some balloting systems encourage citizens to vote tactically, while others can be gamed and all can lead to results that do not reflect voters' intentions and hence some of the advantages and disadvantages of different voting systems are summarized.
