The new urbanism: where and for whom? Investigation of an emergent paradigm

This article examines recent trends in new urbanism. The author, discussing where new urbanism developments are being built and for whom, maintains new urbanism projects are being constructed in and near large metropolitan areas and in the short-term will only benefit design professionals, developers, and upper-class home buyers.
