Virtual truth with a vengeance

Article Abstract:

Leading virtual social scientists have been successful in the family-values campaign, applying sophisticated technologies of public relations and mass media to construct social scientific 'truth'. The increasing dissolution of boundaries raise significant questions about epistemology, politics and professional ethics. The theme of the contemporary family-values crusade, the politics of fatherlessness, is examined in the context of the creative process involved in building a social fact that is a half-truth, with real social and political consequences.

The two categories for defining well-being are the objective and the subjective categories.
