Assembly bill would expand lifeguard health benefits

Article Abstract:

California Assembly Bill 663 could increase protection for lifeguards injured on the job. It would provide the same workers' compensation benefits for lifeguards as already being provided firefighters and police officers. Illnesses arising out of employment such as cancer, leukemia, pneumonia and tuberculosis would be covered.
