Myth and magic in binding design

Article Abstract:

Current research disproves some of the long-held myths about the ski bindings. A fixed ratio between twist release and forward lean is satisfactory for most skiers. Settings can be lower than currently recommended. Binding design improvements are needed for the heel area.
